Spring is getting a big shout out from all of us…it’s hard to believe we had a frigid mess a week ago! We’re also giving a big shout out to HINKLE DENTISTRY and the good news about our Team that we have to share with you.
Hinkle Dentistry – Yes! We have a new web address for our new website! It has been in the works for quite a few months and although we will always be passionate about smiles, our email addresses will no longer be @passionatesmiles but will be @hinkledentistry. Education– we know you are aware how vital we consider continuing education for all of us. Dr. Alan and Dr. Andrew continue to participate in the Seattle Study Club (a network of doctors who meet monthly to discuss interesting cases and bring in internationally renowned speakers to further their knowledge). Dr. Andrew has also begun taking courses at the Kois Center in Seattle. The Kois Center is a didactic and clinical program with the latest advances in esthetics, implant and restorative dentistry. Kois is a curriculum based solely on the latest research available. Dr. Andrew will continue furthering his education with Kois for the next two years. Our whole team attended ACT seminars in 2015 and will continue in 2016 with ACT dentistry. Through ACT we further our education and keep abreast of the most recent advances in the dental field enabling us to always offer our patients the very best of cutting edge dentistry.
Technology– More good news! How would you love to never have another goopy impression!?? Now that they have the kinks worked out, we will be purchasing the equipment for digital impressions this year! Yaaaay and woohoo!!!
Finally, we would like to acknowledge some changes on our team. Christina, our doctors’ assistant, left us in November and with her husband welcomed their beautiful daughter into their family a few short weeks later. Although we miss her dearly, we were happy to welcome Danielle to our Team. Danielle brings years of experience and has already impressed us with her can-do attitude. Welcome Danielle!
Celebrations were many this year as the Hinkle clan welcomed a new baby boy, born to Dr. Alan’s daughter Kate (Dr. Andrew’s sister). We also laughed our way through the anniversaries of Elissa, our wonderful hygienist who has now been with Hinkle Dentistry for 22 years, Stephanie – admin/front desk who started with Dr. Alan 15 years ago and Denise, our other wonderful hygienist who celebrated 8 years with our team. Dr. Alan has a wonderful tradition of bringing up old stories and entertaining us with tales from the past at our anniversary celebrations. You can be sure the spins are always hilarious!
